Jonathan Hunter is a candidate for a PhD in New Testament at the University of St Andrews, Scotland. He holds a BA in Bible and Educational Ministries from the Moody Bible Institute (Chicago) and a MA in Biblical Studies summa cum laude from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary (Charlotte), where he was a Rosell Scholar and earned the New Testament Award. From 2013-2021 Jonathan served in Costa Rica as the director of a parachurch student and family ministry. During that time, he preached regularly at his local church, tutored Greek for Gordon-Conwell for 4 consecutive years, and working briefly as an adjunct at the ESEPA seminary in San Jose, Costa Rica. Jonathan enjoys spending time with his wife and three kids, teaching Sunday School classes, any adventurous outdoor activity, and reading about the history and philosophy of education.
